What QuoteTerminal Does

QuoteTerminal is a quote generation tool for B2B sales reps. You paste pricing data, we extract structured information using AI, and you generate professional quotes.

What Data We Collect

• Account information: email address and name when you sign up (stored in Supabase)
• Quote data: your quotes are stored in encrypted cloud storage so you can access them across devices (Supabase)
• Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card details.
• Usage analytics: page views and feature usage via Vercel Analytics (aggregated, no personal tracking)

How We Protect Your Data During AI Processing

This is the part that matters most.

• Before any text is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic Claude API) for extraction, our PII sanitizer automatically strips personal identifiable information including names, email addresses, phone numbers, and physical addresses
• The AI extraction engine only receives sanitized text with personal details replaced by generic tokens like [EMAIL], [NAME], [PHONE]
• Our AI provider (Anthropic) operates under a zero retention policy for API calls. Your data is processed and discarded. It is not used for training and is not stored beyond the processing window
• Margin calculations happen entirely in your browser. Your cost data and markup percentages never leave your device
• PDF generation happens client side. The finished quote document is created in your browser

What We Store

• Your quotes are stored in Supabase (encrypted at rest) so you can access Quote Memory across devices
• Your account profile and subscription status
• Purchase order tracking data you enter through Quote Memory
• We do NOT store the raw text you paste. Only the structured extraction results

What We Do NOT Do

• We do not sell your data to anyone
• We do not use your data for advertising
• We do not share your pricing, customer information, or quote details with any third party
• We do not train AI models on your data

Third Party Services

• Anthropic (Claude API): AI extraction with zero retention
• Stripe: Payment processing (PCI compliant)
• Supabase: Encrypted database hosting
• Vercel: Application hosting and aggregated analytics
• Cloudflare: DNS and security

Your Rights

• You can export your data at any time
• You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing privacy@quoteterminal.com
• If you delete your account, all quote data, PO records, and profile information are permanently removed

Cookies

We use minimal cookies for authentication (session management) and aggregated analytics. No tracking cookies. No advertising cookies.
